No-exam life insurance
Who gets approved through faster underwriting, how the system works, and what happens if you don't qualify.
Lots of carriers offer fast-track underwriting: inside certain age ranges and policy limits, approval is based on your application, pharmacy records, driving history and public data—no paramedic visit required. Many approvals arrive within hours. This site notes for each quote whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not needed.
What it changes
Accelerated underwriting skips an exam but doesn't skip checking. Answers get verified, and coverage issued on false information is challengeable for two years. The company can still demand an exam or labs if their research turns up questions; you choose whether to proceed.
Who tends to qualify
Mainly younger applicants—roughly age 60 and under—buying amounts within the carrier's accelerated range, with no significant health concerns and a tobacco-free record for one year or longer. Several carriers will accept recent lab results from your doctor instead of a new exam.
If an exam is mandatory, expect a thirty-minute session with a paramedic who comes to your preferred location—home or workplace in the San Clemente region—at zero cost to you. Healthy applicants often receive improved pricing after exam findings, making the exam not necessarily unfavorable.
